we live and work on the Southernmost tip

of the African continent, a small

village, a suburb of Cape Town....

we hail from varied backgrounds.. set design, chef, photographer.. and we are self-taught

we want to make furniture that we love to sit on, lie on, live on.. full of ideas and inspiration

we are so inspired by nature

trying to use only natural fibres is hard in South Africa

we seem to be the only manufacturers around that are committed to using alternative fibres

it takes much longer to upholster in the traditional method

we use a combination of latex foam and raw and recycled fibers

there is a lot of needlework on our pieces, sometimes rough, sometimes really neat..

so much thoughtful handwork in one piece makes it glow
